Vacation Motorhome Rentals all year round

Important Information for

Motorhome Renters

A $500 booking deposit is required to reserve a rental motorhome. Cancellation Insurance fees must be paid for at time of booking an RV. The booking deposit is applied to the balance of your motorhome rental total on pick-up. Booking deposits are accepted by cash or by Interac, certified cheque or accepted credit card.

All Motorhome rentals are subject to a security damage deposit of $2000.00  due at pick-up of the rental unit. This deposit is refunded upon completion of a check-in procedure and providing the rental motorhome is clean inside and out, holding tanks are empty and flushed, and the rental unit is free of any damage. Security deposits are accepted by cash or by Interac, certified cheque or accepted credit card. The deposit is held in Travel-Rite Rentals account for the duration of  the rental period.

All Motorhomes are provided with the following coverage. 

a) Third party liability minimum of $1,000,000.00;

b) collision coverage;

c) comprehensive coverage.

All rental motorhomes are equipped with a full tank of fuel at departure. Renters are required to pay the cost of refueling at conclusion of rental period. No warranties will be made by Travel-Rite Rentals as to fuel consumption or cost at time of rental.

All accepted drivers must be 25 years of age and older, in possession of a valid drivers license, current personal auto insurance and have eight consecutive years driving experience with a "G" license. Clients from overseas must have an "International Drivers License" and out of province residents must supply an driver's abstract or claims free letter.  

Travel-Rite Rentals will use every effort to provide the rental RV reserved. Should any circumstances dictate otherwise, we reserve the right to substitute another similar motorhome. If another similar motorhome is not available, Travel-Rite Rentals, Inc. only liability will be the refund of the booking deposit.

No refund of the booking deposit shall be given in the event of cancellation without the purchase of cancellation insurance at the time of booking - $10.00/day, $70.00 min. With this insurance the motorhome rental can be canceled at anytime up to (30) thirty days prior to the scheduled pick-up date and time with refund of the booking deposit less a $50.00 administration fee. NO REFUNDS for later cancellations will be allowed.

No towing of any kind will be permitted.  Trailer hitches (if equipped) are to be used for bike racks or similar types of items only.

All times are as per contract. All motorhomes must be picked up and returned to Travel-Rite Rentals offices in Shanty Bay, Ontario. We do not offer one way motorhome rentals or delivery services. Returns on weekends or holidays or after 4:15pm weekdays are for renter convenience only and must be pre-arranged before departure. No paperwork, check-ins or refunds will be performed until the next regular business day, no exceptions. Late returns after office hours are not accepted. The rental unit must be returned within the first hour of our office hours  the next day to which you will be charged the extra day. To avoid any extra costs, the rental unit is to be returned in a clean condition inside and out and the sewage tanks flushed and dumped out.
