All of our rental units are privately owned. People have purchased them for their own private use and we rent them out for the rest of the time. The units were not built for a rental fleet so they are a much higher quality unit and have more features than what other rental fleets have. Most other rental companies do not have or will not allow you to use the awnings. Here at Travel-Rite Rentals Inc., we allow you to take full advantage of all the features of the rental unit. We are much more flexible on the pick-up and return times and dates. We even allow a minimum of 4 days during our summer season (July and August). Most other rental companies have 7 to 14 day minimum rental periods during the summer months. We also allow pets in most of our units. Our clients are telling us that their pet is part of the family and they want them to enjoy the RV trip as much as they would.  
The units are also maintained by The Hitch House, the largest RV dealership in Ontario with the backing of their state-of-the-art service and parts department.

Below are some questions you should ask when shopping around to rent a RV for your vacation.

1] Are you renting from a rental company or are you renting from a RV dealership?

TRAVEL-RITE RENTALS is only a rental company. Therefore, we will do everything we can to make you motorhome vacation enjoyable because this is our only income. With dealerships, it is only a department that offsets their other departments.

With most RV dealers, you are restricted to pick-up on a certain day and to return on a certain day. With TRAVEL-RITE RENTALS, you can pick-up and return any day of the week and even weekends on any of our five scheduled times during the day.

At TRAVEL-RITE RENTALS, you can rent a motorhome for 12 days and only pay for 12 days. At most other RV dealers, if you rent a motorhome for 12 days, you will be charged 14 days (2 weeks).

TRAVEL-RITE RENTALS have more packages to choose from than any other RV dealer does. TRAVEL-RITE RENTALS works very hard with you at the time of booking to pick one of our four packages.

5] Are you renting from a company who has been in the business for a while?

TRAVEL-RITE RENTALS has been in business for 16 years with a total of 55 years in the RV industry between the staff.

TRAVEL-RITE RENTALS only has 4 staff members with a very low overhead and has the support of one of the largest RV dealers in North America for service and a prime location from which we lease from. This all reflects on the lowest rates for this part of central and southern Ontario.

The motorhomes on TRAVEL-RITE RENTALS rental fleet are all privately owned. They have been purchased and put on the fleet to offset the payments for each owner. Being that they are privately owned, each motorhome has a wide range of options to choose from. Each motorhome has their own unit number, so you can pick the one you like. With other rental fleets, most of the rental fleet were built to be on a rental fleet and the options on these units are very few. They are classed as the"plain jane type" of motorhome.
